Cool Picture

I rarely have the opportunity to play around with macro photography. I love it and I adore some of the beautiful fine art images I see all over the Internet and in the books I read.

I was inspired by the beautiful flowers that are starting to bloom all over the area and decided to try photographing something out of my comfort zone. I took the picture this morning right after I picked the daffodils from my garden.

I think it is a very unusual picture. I love it and I am going to get a huge enlargement of it...I just need to find a big wall space for it.

I love meeting new people and I had such a joy interacting with this awesome family. Our children are almost exactly the same age, so we had lots of fun talking about the antics of toddlers! Several weeks ago I met this beautiful family. Today I had the opportunity to meet the newest member! Baby boy B is such a handsome guy and very sweet. I loved his eye contact and alertness. It was fun watching his big brother and sister dote over him.

I did a little shopping on Etsy in preparation for the baby boy newborn session. I can't get over this fun hat! He looked adorable! The lovely blanket was made by a friend of the family.

Baby on the Way, Maternity Photographer

Recently I have had the wonderful pleasure of photographing several beautiful women as they anticipate the birth of a baby. Today I met another one! Lovely J and her equally lovely family were a joy to work with. This is a family full of love and I am so glad I could help them remember these moments before their second child is born.
Little Miss M was so adorable. I can't get over the beautiful blue eyes! I am sure she will love being a big sister.

She needed a little Mommy love in between taking photos.

The nursery was absolutely stunning, as was the rest of their home.

Just a quick snapshot of Miss M as she was hiding behind the baby's crib. What a little beauty.

This last picture is for Daddy. He really helped keep Miss M entertained as Mommy was getting her picture taken. Daddy and his other buddy, Addie dog.

Thanks again for having me in your home to capture these precious moments. It was a pleasure meeting you and I will look forward to meeting the newest addition in a few short weeks.

Baby A finally arrived. At 10 days old, she was such a contented baby to interact with. I spent this afternoon hanging out with the three kids and the wonderful parents. The older kids were so excited to try this pose. Daddy and I were a little freaked out, but they did great! Baby A loves to have her big brother and sister around.

Big sister is totally in love with Baby A. It was really sweet to watch her interact with the baby.

This was the most wakeful she was during the whole photo session.

I love wakeful baby pictures, but this little lady wanted to sleep all afternoon. I had about 10 minutes to get a couple of open eyed shots. What a doll.
